My Rouen/Mallard purebreds and mixes are all laying like crazy. There are nests of eggs everywhere. I have about 13 males, mostly pure Rouens and about 9 females, again mostly pure Rouens but some that originally had Mallard mamas so they still lay large blue eggs.
The Rouens are very large and almost flightless. The ducks are now all freeranging my farm.
