Chirping
I have rir too and they totally hold their own! I separated the original 9. Some with the reds and some with my ameraucanas. They were all fine until these 2 lavs came. We put bands on the females so I could count exactly how many I had. The lavs I got even tho they are mature are small compared to my hogs. I'm assuming it's because my pearls break the bank eating the chicken food plus scraps and ranging. I may keep the lavs separated or maybe give the male a few pearls so I can get some splits. Here where I live keets go from 5$-10$ each. Adults usually 15-23$. The guineas are staying lol! I wanted some since they are a "hot item" around here. I may get rid of a male if I notice bullying. I know before I split them up I had some bloody faces when I would lock the coop up at night.
