Just wondering what's up with my eggs. They taste fine, the inside looks fine. The shells on the other hand have a rough patch on the top of them. My first hens have always layed these eggs and I figured that was normal for them. When I got a new BR recently though her eggs were smooth all over ( just like store bought eggs). This morning however after seeing her in the nest box I checked it after she left and her egg had the rough patch on the top as well. Is this cause for concern??
