Round Sheffield Run

I entered this race which took place on Sunday

It's a 24km run around Sheffield, going through 11 stages and multiple parks. It was a great event, and totally different to the usual races I enter.

Overall pace was slower than usual, because of the walking / recovery stages between the official timed ones.

I've also only been able to find 1 picture from the race, which was taken as I was crossing the finish line

Training for my next event has been going really well. Managed to get a 3rd place in a local ParkRun last weekend.

I've also purchased a gopro hero5 session to try and record some of my runs. Still figuring the best way to record, and the chesty strap I bought isn't it! Head strap coming tomorrow!

Yes a head strap is certainly the way to go. I changed from chest to head for when I'm out on Harry horse. The chest one does feel more secure but watching it back makes you feel sea sick

Luckily they are pretty cheap on Amazon. So I've got the head strap coming on prime delivery tomorrow for £15.

Yeah I got an accessory pack from Amazon as my cheaper version action cam only came with bike/car mounts. Not a chest or head mount that I could attach to my riding hat.

It's been well worth the £10 and of course getting it on prime it was here the next day. Love prime on Amazon
