I'm in my second attempt. My first went badly after the old incubator I was using had too much humidity and my egg giver told me to leave the chicks in to all hatch. He wasn't there to see the humidity and I was getting instructions through texts. So my family was upset with the incident. So now I bought a new genesis hova bator with the LCD screen. When I fill up trough 1 it will go up to about 70% but, if I pull the plug it will drop to around 55%. So I have been keeping up with it. This Wednesday I will be going into lockdown and in preparation I'm wondering if I should fill trough 2 or just keep trough 1 filled and keep the plug in. I don't want too much humidity. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

! Pleased you joined us! Sorry your first hatch was unsuccessful. I'm a hatching rookie myself so I'll defer to the experts in the thread below. Good luck to you!!
