Round Worms and worm bin...

I just discovered a round worm and bloody feces of one chicken, I have 11. I have cleaned out the coop, added fresh wood chips, sage, catmint and peppermint, put vinegar in their water, and added 3 heads of garlic with their feed(they gobbled it right up). I will continue to check for worms...do you think this is enough, I'm trying to stay organic...Can I still eat the eggs? They all look healthy, and are eating well, etc.
Also- I have a worm farm that I have inherited, I put in vegetable scraps, the worms (red wrigglers) eat them and make compost. I fed the chickens a fistful of worms from the bin this week- I'm wondering if not only earth worms are growing in there? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

I don't have any experience with this, but they say that pumpkin seeds may act as a natural wormer. You can just cut a pumpkin in half and put it in the coop. At least it can't hurt, and they will looooove it.

The concerning thing is, from what I've read, once you see worms in their feces they may have quite an infestation. I hope you get a positive response from someone who has had success treating without chemicals.

Also- I noticed that the tip of one of my Polis's beak is pink- never noticed that before...?

I have seen a roundworm in an egg with my very own eyes.

It is true. I'd myself treat with a wormer and get them buggers (and toss the eggs for two weeks).
