I got the Safeguard paste from TSC and gave them a dime size each. Overall, that was the consensus. Will repeat in 10 days. Thanks all! With that heavy of a parasite load you will need to deworm. DE is useless on internal and external parasites. I find it causes respiratory issues and therefore it has no place in my coop or around my birds. Works fine for some garden pests.
Dosage for Safeguard liquid goat wormer is 0.25ml per pound or 1.25ml for a 5 pound hen given orally for 5 days.
It is more effective dosing your birds before they eat in the mornings.
Dosage for Valbazen is 1/2ml given orally, then repeat dosing in 10 days.
