Okay ...so I saw what I think to be roundworms in one of my chickens feces yesterday. I determined this by looking at pictures online and reading on this website. I have gone to Tractor Supply and bought "safe-guard" dewormer for Goats. It's the 10% suspension (100 mg/ml). I saw pictures that people have posted that this is what to use. I just need someone to give me dosing instructions and length of treatment. I'm completely grossed out and want to take care of this as soon as possible. YUCK!!

Administer the liquid goat wormer orally using a syringe without a needle. Dosage is 1/2cc given orally undiluted for standard size birds, 1/4cc for smaller birds. Redose your birds again in 10 days. There's a 14 day withdrawal period after the last dosing.

What do you mean "There's a 14 day withdrawal period after the last dosing."

It's usually recommended to discard eggs in the garbage after the last worming due to wormer residue in the eggs. For most wormers, it's normally 14 days. Some people eat the eggs anyway. However there could be a reaction if a person is sensitive to the product, or allergic to it also. I discard the eggs.

Thanks! You always advise well!!
