Roxana, IL Hoping to change the ordinance

Hi all, New here and would love some advice from anyone who has successfully challenged their local chicken laws. I am planning to address the board hopefully next month. I went to the village hall and inquired what the steps would be to address the board. Now.... I need to plan my strategy.

I was planning on possibly emailing all the board members the information on pros/cons and other local ordinances to compare prior to the meeting so it wasn't a total shock. Could this be counterproductive?

Any suggestions?

Thanks, I did start there and I've been reading the links. I'm just curious to hear from anyone who has challenged their local board and won who has any tips.
