This weekend I took a few girls to town to escape the snow and enjoy some R&R in the sunshine. Yep, loaded them up in the subaru in a nice travel cage and made the 20 min drive to our sons house. They had a great time, scratched and roamed free all day. BUT when we returned in the evening the 2 roos went crazy and jumped the poor girls as soon as I took them out of the cage. They werent very nice about it at all. Is this normal roo behavior? We are roo heavy at this time, 8 hens 2 roos (one was supposed to be a hen). I know I need to address this issue, not sure how or what to do. That is why the girls got a day at the spa, 2 different batches on 2 different days. I felt bad that those 2 roos really had a free for all!! Was it because I had seperated them for the day?

Well guess I will have to ask the girls if the day out is worth it in the future!! Ya know Im old enough to know about the absence thing!
