Can I give a drench dose of Corid to my flock who are not showing any symptoms of coccidiosis yet?

Rufus died last week and now one of my chicks hatched in June is showing the same symptoms. I have her inside and being treated. This is the first day she has shown symptoms so hopefully she will recover.

I'm sure it's coccidiosis. I have been putting Corid in the waterers and will continue to do that, but I'd like to get ahead of this thing if I can by giving everyone a drench dose. And if I can give them a drench dose, can I do that daily for the next however long?

Photos of her and her poop?

Any way you can take a sample of poop to your vet for a fecal float to make sure it's Coccidiosis you're dealing with?

You can give them a direct oral drench once daily for 3 days in addition to them drinking the mixed Corid water. Direct oral drench of Undiluted Liquid Corid is 0.10ml per pound of weight.

Mixed Water dosing:
Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Thank you for the info!

No one is acting sick today yet, so I'm giving a drench to everyone this morning, but I am so confused on this dosage. I have these 3ml syringes from Rural King. When you say .10 ml per pound, for a 3 lb chicken that would be .3 ml, so less than .5ml using the measurements on the side? Just want to make sure I'm not underdosing, that seems like a literal drop of Corid. Maybe i needed smaller syringes?

Edited to say, I have gotten 1ml syringes, now I understand the dosage. Everyone as been drench dosed this morning. So far, no one else is showing symptoms. Fingers crossed I've gotten ahead of this!

The little girl from yesterday didn't make it. Poop and symptoms were identical to Rufus. Undigested food, looked identical to Rufus's poo. She was just a couple months old so she went fast.

3rd dose given today. Still no one acting sick. I need to read back on how long I keep putting the Corid in the water. I sure hope that this is the end of it. I really feared it was going to wipe out my whole flock.

Glad they are still doing o.k.!

Corid in the water can be given 5-7days. The direct oral dose is usually 3days.
