Rumpless austra white?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone has an idea as to why one of my 2 austra white pullets had no tail. We have 15 pullets purchased from the local feed store at 1 day old, now almost 20 weeks old. They are all very healthy, happy girls. But of the 2 austra whites, 1 looks normal while the other has never had a tail & looks rather strange I think. I'm wondering if this is common due to fact that so many breeds are mutts & not purebred. Any insight into this strange looking but very sweet girl would be appreciated. Thank you!

That was my 1st thought for sure! But could it be a spontaneous mutation?
