Should the run door swing in or out? In would help get birds out of the way but easier for predators to push. Out would be better to stop predators but easier for birds to get out. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance

In my situation, I have a coop run enclosure. Run below and portion of upper level closed in for roost and nest boxes. The door opens outward. Usually my 4 girls move away when I start to enter. One curious bird has come to my feet but hasn't tried to run out. I enter pulling door shut behind me. I don't have any other way to compare to since this is the only coop I've ever had. I like the set up and we have it set up where it can't be pushed in.

Chickens are more likely to run away from the door as you open it, not towards it.
