Hi there so I've got a hutch and run for our rabbits, they're currently living indoors right now while I'm figuring everything out.

So I need a base for the run, one that can't be dug out and can be hosed down and stand the outdoors. I know that concrete is the first thing I think of but that's not an option.

I'm looking for something cheap and easy. I was thinking maybe a sheet of plywood that's been coated in black jack or something?

We also have some gravel we could build up as a base and maybe use a heavy duty rubber mat?

Any ideas are appreciated, thanks!

Sounds good if you put the gravel as a base and then a sheet of plywood on top of that and glue a sheet of vinyl or linoleum on top of the plywood so you could easily clean and hose it down.
