Run Height

Second year with chickens. My first set I have given to my son-in-law and daughter. I have the second generation. I'm rebuilding the run. My question is is there a minimal height required. Though its cool to walk through the run its not really necessary. Opinions please and pics are always nice.

Actually it is more than just convenient to be able to walk into the run - for example, you may have to clean out debris, catch a bird, or supply water or food inside. My run is covered in heavy-duty poultry meeting, and there is a tall central pole raising it well above head height in the center. You can see it inside the right pen, just to the left of the partial roof.
