The roof of our run is actually metal barn siding sheets left over from when we built our barn. Where the sheets meet the run frame it doesn't lie flush. It's like this... __/\__/\__/\__
The open "Vs" are about 2 " at the widest part. Any ideas what to fil that with to keep predators out? I wouldn't want a weasel sneaking in :(

Something like this? http://www.homedepot.com/p/Suntuf-24-in-Horizontal-Plastic-Closure-Strips-6-Pack-92770/100067957
Or you can use 1/2" hardware cloth to cover any gaps.

I used 1/2" hardware mesh in the larger gap under the roof.
That still left the area under the /\ to fill in. Mine are 9" apart.

They may sell accessories for your particular roof brand to fill these in. If there is a small overhang, you could stick them under the overhang against the coop, with a piece of trim below to hold it in place.

In mine, for the /\, I use the Great Foam gap filler. You have to be sure to not overspray, so practice on a section of paper towel tube, for example. Also use gloves, the stuff won't come off of your fingers! (Trust me).
I have used it in one side of my coop, because I had it around anyway, and it fills in the space very well, and becomes rock hard.
So I am pleased with this option, and will use it on the other side too.

Thanks everyone!

The strips probably wouldn't work since the inverted "Vs" aren't spaced evenly. The metal sheets actually isn't roofing material so finding something commercially made for this purpose probably isn't made. It would look nicer though.

The foam filler sounds like it would work, I used it to fill the gaps around the electic conduit in the floor. It is sticky and hard to get off anything! In the large spaces between the rafters (and below the roof) we used 2 x 4s.

Here are pics with the spray in foam. It's hard to tell, but the rest of the roof is mostly flush with the wood, except that tiny bump between the /\'s.
On the other side, I plant to tape off the wood to make it easier.
Not perfect, but the foam becomes rock solid and goes back a couple of inches.

Looks like the same type of sheeting we're using for the roof. I bought 2 cans of the foam today. When you say you're planning to tape off the wood, do you mean from behind, to keep the foam from going to far into the space?

Thanks for the pics.

I'm thinking of taping off the wood underneath the roof edge, on the outside. Just so there are not any smears on it. But you can't really see them on the side that has been done, frankly.
With gloves on and paper towels, you can wipe and edge as the foam expands. It seems to do most of its expanding within seconds, with perhaps 20% more over a few hours; not enough to really matter.
I didn't worry too much about it coming out the inside; actually I haven't looked yet.
