Run size with grass

So in the past we had a small run with 6 hens and in a couple months it no longer had grass. We are looking at getting a dozen hens this time and have around a 14 x 10 or 14 x 15 run is it possible to keep grass in a chicken run so it will not stay dirt and mud?

No, I'm afraid it's unlikely to have a run large enough to keep the grass when you have chickens.

You have to be thinking on the size of "pasture" rather than "run".

I'm afraid you have no chance with those numbers. My 12 chickens roam 2 acres in winter only where 1 acre is grass. The reason they don't roam the grass area in summer is to give a break from their constant root destruction.
