Run size

I am finally going to have to put my chickens in a run. They are traveling 600 yards to a neighbor's place and tearing up his flower beds. How many chickens can a run 20 feet by 30 feet handle. I only have 10 now but am planning on getting more.

The rule of thumb is 10 square feet per chicken in the run if you have at least 4 square feet per chicken in the coop. For your 600 square feet run, that means 60 chickens if your coop is big enough.

Thanks for the replies. For 60 chickens I will definitly need a bigger coop.
