runner duck hatching...should i help it??

I have a runner ducky that started to pip internally, on Thrusday afternoon. it is now Saturday midday and is make a pip big enough for its beak to fit through. it hasn't started to zip or anything. but its still tapping away strongly. Ive read that is can take up to 2 days for ducks to hatch, but im scared its gonna die from exhaustion....

should I help it or leave it??

Give it a bit more time. I've had a duckling take 4 days to hatch once and it was fine. If it's showing signs of distress, or if it gets weaker you can help it a bit, but for now, just keep an eye on it and see how it does.

thanks for the help. its fully out of its shell now
