runner duck tails?

Is it a bad sign for my juvenile runners to hold their tails up the majority of the time? I thought they were supposed to hold them down, always in a straight line???

I would not be concerned about that.

I don't know about runners, but my guys carry their tails up when they are young and excitable. As they mature, the tail carriage ends up where it should be.

Silly teenagers. I am sure keeping the tail up keeps the bum cleaner. I am trying to learn about the proper conformation. They are quite nervous, so that makes sense. Thanks!

From what I remember, it is a fault if the tail is held at an angle. to the side not up. As Oregon said, they will probably change as they age. There are alot of specifics for show runners. There is alot of info online though.
