First question.I have read on other forums that pekins will not fly away... I just got a 1 year old runner who is already backyard trained but he gets some serious air! I saw him fly 4ft yesterday to catch up with the other ducks. This may be a dumb question but will they ever fly away on me? Do i need to trim the runners wings? Second questions: I have 4 runners... One 6 month old female, One 1 year old male and two 7 week olds that i believe are male and female. I know for a fact the 6 month old is female and I have noticed the 1 year old mating with her... about how long after the first mate could I expect eggs? Do runners lay this early? I know pekins do but im new to the runners.
