I have two chocolate runner drakes that constantly attacked a East India hen until they killed her. Does anyone know why this would happen? I have several other hens that they don't attack other than to mate. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Two drakes double teaming hens in the flock is not a good idea. It is not uncommon for them to drown, injure or even kill ducks when tag team breeding them. Some drakes breed competitively and the removal of one drake generally calms the other down somewhat. I would be worried that now they will pick another hen as their target.
