So, I have this XL Cabinet incubator set, that will not fit through the doors of the house.

How stable is running XL cabinet incubators in a garage?

This is where the previous owner had them (they are in great shape, etc)

We are trying to work out if we could put them inside, but the large one is around a 4x4x5 "cube".

It depends on your climate. If you can heat the garage it will be fine.
If it is cold out there, the incubator will cycle so much that the electricity bill will go way up and it could affect incubation.
If it gets too hot in the summer, that could be a bigger problem.
I incubate in a cool basement and it is such a problem that I'm going to put it in my basement office and run some gas heat in there.

Commercial hatcheries climate control their storage, incubating and hatching rooms to include temperature, humidity and oxygen/CO2. That way the incubators don't have to do much additional work.

As long as the ambient temperature in the garage is warm enough to allow the incubators to reach the set temperature, they should be fine. The more stable the ambient temperature is the better the incubators will do.

I could run it in the basement, maybe, But I would have to take down some fencing and move a kennel of dogs. It will only fit through french doors or overhead/barn doors. (4x5)

We could control the area it is in potentially... just not sure how to do that yet or maybe insulate. We are in Michigan little North of Grand Rapids.

Photo super deceptive on size.

In Michigan it would probably be fine in the summer but likely too cold without heating the garage in the winter and spring.

We could make a insulated shell (mini room) for it to help with climate control... inside the garage.

I could also try to make castors for the bottom and put it in a corner of our living room if we could get it through the back doors. (might be real tricky)

Once we get moved to the new place (larger farm) we will likely be buying or building a shed area for incubation and divided for brooding... at the very least an area for supplies and all this type, with insulation etc for the brooders and incubators.
