Got 4 chicks from Big R and nobody knows what breeds or how old. I'm assuming around 2 weeks as I had them for 1 week. They have been having runny (butterscotch color) poop since I got them. Temperature is around 90 degrees and they are on medicated starter. I also used sav a chick in there water. What could be the issue?

Post pics of the chicks and their poop. It could be a few different things. Do they have a way of getting away from the heat when they need to? First cause to check is water. They can't sweat to cool down so they pant and drink extra water. This extra drinking makes for runny droppings. At 2 weeks you can start reducing heat. Look at the posts here about the "mother hen pad" it's a good way of the chicks regulating how much heat they get. If overheating isn't a problem there may be a clue someone sees once you post pics.

These poops are not the best examples. They usually have no white in them and it's usually a lot more.

The white is normal, in case you weren't aware. I'm not sure exactly with the rest. Let me see if I can get some more help. The chicks are adorable btw.:D

Would you be kind enough to take a look here?
Thank you! I raised 10 chicks almost 11 weeks ago and they did wonderful. They didn't have any vaccines and I never had any problems. Could it be that?
