Runt question

I got five NH reds, they were born two weeks ago tomorrow. I have one who is half the size on the rest; the flock protects her and she is a healthy happy chick (it seems). I am wondering if they sent me a RI Red instead or if this is a normal occurrence.

Any advice would be lovely!

I can't see much at all in that pic...but often there are different breeding crosses even in the same breed, which can make for different sizes. Or hatchery could have mixed in a similar but different breed...or it could be a 'runt', just a little less well developed....or it could catch up as they get older.
Probably not a concern unless it is exhibiting health issues..not eating, drinking, pooping, being active...
