Runty chick

We have 1 chick, 4 weeks old who is not developing properly. She is still almost as small as a 1 week old chick and only has a few feathers on her wings coming in. The rest of the chicks from that batch are fully feathered. She did have an issue with her foot as a small chick that we suspect was bumblefoot, although she seems recovered from that now. I'm not sure what to do. Will she ever develop fully? If she does will she not be a good layer? She seems to be fine socially with the other chicks, they're not picking on her or anything. Her size is just baffling.

Hi! I'm a "new egg" too! I have a runty chick who is feathering slower than the rest. Of course she wasn't big and fluffy like the others when I got her. Nothing else seems wrong with her...just small and growing slower. I say give her a chance, who knows, she may grow up big and strong and be your best layer!
