So I have a very cool Russian Orloff rooster who has been very nice so far to my silkies. I want to get some more bantam chickens. Will the bantams get injured when the Orloff trys to mate with them? Thanks for any input

Perhaps. A lot depends upon his size and temperment.

Hes a pretty good size but he has a great temperment. Im thinking about getting some hatching eggs and letting my silkie hatch them when she gets broody again. Im enclosing my entire yard with bird netting so now having bantams is not such a worry. My yard has turned into an aviary. Thanks!
