So recently I have purchased a pair of Millefleur sablepoots however once checking their feet I became a little concerned as they have the normal 4 toes however on the 4th toe on each foot they’re both missing nails. I don’t know wether it’s the breed or just a problem. On both my other hens they have the full set of nails so I have no clue why these don’t. I incubated some of their eggs to see whether it was a hereditary thing or just them but it seems a couple of their chicks haven’t got some nails either? If anyone knows anything about this it would be extremely helpful
