Sad about the death of a wild bird.

[Catastrophic]

Was sitting in my living room and then I hear a noise from my window and went to check it out and saw a baby bird that looked like it hit the window. I picked it up and tried seeing if it was bleeding and it looked like the mouth was a little bloody. I took it inside and tried to give it some water but before I could it died in my hands. I'm really sad about this death and if there was anything I could have done to save it. I think it died of shock and I am really distraught in how it died in my hands.

I’m sorry about this! It’s happened to me with a lot of animals wild and not...Even if it’s wild and we don’t know the animal like we know our pets it’s still sad because it’s a life that’s lost.

To me, death is always sad and unnatural. We are wired for life. Maybe it will help if you bury this little one, letting its little body go back to nature and into the "circle of life." ❤
