They don't look too good to me. And they don't seem to be purebred either since not all of them have "hair" on their feet. Sorry, that made me laugh!!
You are correct, that one picture shows a pretty skinny chicken. And one should be able to tell if you have roosters or not when they are 11 months old.
I would say, do yourself a favor, and stay away from that "deal".

Agreed, the cockerels in those breeds tend to be quite distinct, and should have revealed themselves in their plumage, if nothing else, months ago.

You are so right. I tend to have too big a heart and feel for animals that others would just kill. Heck I don’t even like killing plants because they have feelings. At least to me.

The cost is not worth it to me to bring these birds into my flock. I live in a village and don’t have the room to put them far enough away. If I could put them on an acre of land, away from my main flock, all to themselves then maybe.

Looking at the pictures I did notice that some of the males, the ones with bigger combs anyway, have what look like straight combs. And I’m not an expert but they didn’t look like a Brahma pea combs. I just hope someone will pick them up and give them a better life. Someone with lots of land. And hopefully talk this person down on pricing. There’s so many new chicken keepers I just hope a newbie like me doesn’t pick these guys up.

I don’t think they are 11 months. I think the person is just saying that to bump the price. I have two three month old brahmas that are bigger than the birds pictured. I actually bought brahmas, from another person not these birds, off Craigslist that were 16 weeks and are bigger. I feel like this person might know they’re sick, or have a feeling they are, and is trying to pawn them off on someone else.
