Sad day, I unplugged the incubator for the summer.

Well I just had my last hatch for the summer. The incubator is unplugged. My family has asked me to cool it with the hatching for the summer. How will I sleep without the hum of the fan running? 'Sigh' what to do now. Countdown to fall hatches!! Anyone else taking a summer break?

hi there, i know how it feels like. i waiting for my last hatch which are due on the 8th, 100 chicken eggs of my flock and 16 guinea eggs. the heat is pretty bad down here in south texas, 2 days ago i lost 50+ 2 week old quails due to the heat 106 degrees. Today we reached 111 degrees and the rest of this coming week we will also be in the 3 digits......its time to put old sportsman to rest for the summer....

..there's nothing else we can do.
