sad day today

sad day today. I'm presently in Canada for a week for work. I have hired a neighborhood girl to take care of the birds and animals for me. She is very dependable, but apparently she didn't latch the lower part of the brown eared pheasant door and a predator got in and killed the hen. I have a new door that I just hadn't got put on yet. The girls dad came over and installed it today for me, so things are much more secure now that is so sad tho, our birds become tame, confined in an area, and they are literally sitting ducks. sad. anyone know of a brown eared hen available?
