My Super Shamo and Thai Hybrid roosters have perished due to a fight. I'm not sure how the Thai escaped from his pen but I believe they were fighting all day as the next day I came in to feed them again, both were tore up badly and each one resting in it's own corner.... breathing slowly, out of strength and nearing death. I did the best I could but unfortunately both died. So if you have Oriental Gamefowls, especially the ones bred to do battle, just be aware that they WILL fight to the end of their last breath...... warriors they both were but I never wanted to fight them I just love game bred birds because I grew up with them and wanted to keep some as pets. :(

All is not lost though as I've successfully bred my Thai hybrid fighter and got some offspring outta him, the males are growing along nicely, they are now 9 months old and molting. I can't wait till they get a bit older and their new colors come in to show how beautiful they are!

I'm sorry :( My OShamo Asil hybrid hen just hatched her first batch of babies after about 5 months trying. They hatched 2 days ago and then last night something ripped open the screen in my garage, opened her little coop and ate her and her babies. She must have fought like a warrior princess, there were feathers all over the garage and yard. They are wonderful birds. It's very hard when you lose one. Do you have a picture of your roosters?
