Hello. This is my first lockdown in about 3 decades. (actually as a kid, I am sure I never did "lockdown") I have 5 ring necked pheasant eggs and 11 chicken eggs that I locked down last night. The pheasant eggs were shipped and all but 2 have saddled air cells. I had this bright idea to turn an egg carton upside down (since the eggs are so small, they sit better in the carton like that) and hatch the eggs that way. They are the only ones in the carton.
But, now I am worried they could get stuck in it. If I am going to take them out of the carton, now would be the time as I have no external pips on any eggs. Does anyone have any advice for me? I also thought it might be better to have them in it so they dont get rolled around by the chicks.
