Safe for ducks to bathe at sub zero F temps?

My ducks stay on the pond, and on the really cold days they are usually in the water all day. I don't think it would hurt them at all. It probably is warmer in the water than out, and usually the water runs right off of them, so they aren't technically 'wet'. The only thing they need to worry about is their feet, and they usually keep them tucked up under them when not in the water.

I can't change the bedding either.
Its pretty much frozen at this point.
I just add clean shavings as needed.

When it is that cold here I do not give them swimming water..It was so cold one day the water froze to them faster than they could get it off..So really cold days they have just drinking water but my crested still seems to freeze her crest frozen to her head...I know it works for others but for my ducks it isnt good!
