Safe to eat: manure tea on spinach?

Is it safe to eat spinach or onions when I have been watering them with chicken manure tea?

If you Google- safe manure garden vegetable

You will find that almost every State University Agricultural School and County Extension Office publishes guidelines on safe practices of using manure on vegetable gardens. They may differ slightly, but generally, there are indeed Best Practices Standards in terms of safe handling of manure for gardens.
