safe to eat

[the simple life]

I want to plant some things around the coop and run for shade and want to know if anything is not safe.
I already have a cherry blossom tree nearby so I don't want to put another tree there.
I was thinking of some flowering vines w/berries or something like that.I am not concerned with them pecking at or eating them, I figure that they will, but I want to make sure I don't grow anything that will harm them.

I have wild blackberries in my yard, but the wildbirds get them before the girls do.
Obelisk has acquired a taste for Hostas...but they won't harm her.
