I have a couple Knuckle Purple Hull Bush Pea plants growing and wanted to know if the chickens can eat the hulls or the pea itself, cooked of course. If they can eat it, then I'll plant some more. Thanks so much!!

Yeah that's it I believe. I don't eat them, it's just for the family. I have a whole half a pound bag of seed left, I figured I could try growing some for the chickens.I had to look that one up.
Is it this?

If so, that's a variety of cowpea, which is safe for people to eat. For chickens, it should be the same amount safe as any other cowpea variety.
About cowpeas in general, I find several sources that say people can safely eat the leaves, hulls, and peas, raw or cooked.
They are most likely safe for chickens too, because most foods that are safe for people are also safe for chickens.
