My Silkie just started laying this week (yea!) My other three chickens have not yet started laying. They are all 7 months old or older. Is it safe to switch them from the grower feed to layer? I'm also offering crushed egg shells. I still have some grower left, so I was thinking I would just mix it together. Thanks!
