Hello

I foster neonate kittens and am upgrading my incubator. Need a safe heat source to keep the temperature between 75°F-95°F depending on the age of the babies. The incubator is in my bedroom, so I'm looking for something with the least chance of fire.

Is there a heat plate that I could attach to the ceiling or wall of the incubator that will warm the air safely?

I'm open to other suggestions

Thanks in advance!

The majority of heat plates do not create ambient warmth by heating the air, but rather heat through body contact. There are some heat plates that can be mounted to a wall and animals can choose to lay up against them to warm up. There is something called a “Sweeter Heater” which is similar to a heat plate, but is designed to be hung overhead or wall mounted which allows for further distance between the animals and the plate. https://www.mypetchicken.com/products/sweeter-heater-coop-brooder-heater-4-sizes

I'm confused @Debsii is the incubator for the kittens?
Are you trying to keep the room warmer so the incubator works better...or?
What are the average temps, day and night, in the room?

I'm changing the heat source in the incubator from heat lamps to something safer
