Safest spray for mites.

I just got 2 hens and I want to buy a spray to prevent mites. What is the safest? Permethrin? Pyrethrin? Insecticidal soap?

Somebody on this forum told me about using Adams spray, you know, the kind for dogs and such? But I also have a little bottle of permectrin that gets diluted, if you're intrested I'll look and see what the dilution is.

That's OK, I think I'll just go with Pyrethrin or Permethrin or the stuff you are using, I think it's all fairly similar.
