Saffron/yellow rice?

It's okay for the chickens to have it correct? I'm heating up some from last night and after I've eaten my fill I plan on giving the rest to the chooks. I've given them wild and white rice before, just never the yellow.
Saffron comes from a certain crocus bulb, so I'm assuming it's okay.

* I'm sure they'll love it, gritsar I sure do. Quiggs yellow rice is awesome, our favorite brand, but getting hard to to find. I grew up on that stuff. With a stick of butter in every pot full. YUMM!!
