Hello to the community at large. My name is Heather and I've just started raising quail with my family on what is quickly becoming a suburban farm. Originally we'd intended on chickens, but due in part to the size of our yard and the fact that I couldn't have a rooster (I want what will eventually be a self sustaining flock), we decided on quail instead.
I've been lurking here for awhile now, but finally decided to dive in and say hello. I'm more of a lurker than anything else, but the discussions here are great and I'm really looking forward to getting to know people here.
