I feed and water my 10 week old chicks today and I was sitting there watching them eat like any normal chicken owner. And after they ate I picked one up(not hard I just lifted them I didn't grab her) after maybe a minute she jumped down and started walking around and doing normal chick stuff. Maybe about a minute later she lifted her head and this watery gooey saliva started coming from her mouth. Then after it all came out she went back to her everyday activities. I'm a little worried that she might spread it to my other adult chickens. I have three flocks that don't normally meet I have my 10 week old chicks by themselves, my largest flock which is my laying flock, and my silkie flock my lil fluff butts. I'm worried if this is contagious and if so what do I do about it.

Sounds like just food or water came back up after she had just finished eating and was handled.

Chickens have no gag reflex, so contents of the crop can easily come back up.

Check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight.
