Salman Khan, learning videos

Does anyone know or have experience with these videos? I need to read more about them, but Bill Gates has very positive things to say about the videos. It is non-profit according to what I read.

I saw a segment on TV with a math class and those kids were amazing and enthusiastic. We desperately need better education in this country.

They're good videos. They usually make sense and you can rewatch them until you really understand what he's saying. I suggest that you look at the videos yourself since they're free to watch online.

Thanks Princess Amri. I just caught part of the story on TV but those kids, I think were 7th graders, came up with a math problem answer in their heads like the savants and fast. Is this what home schoolers use? If so, I wonder if their kids aren't way ahead of public schools.
