I bought some Favs and two of them have deformed feet. Their toes turn sideways instead of forward. I was just wondering if this is a flaw or just a fluke. They are pretty but needless to say I won't breed these.

post a pic if you can of their feet... how old are they? A supplement like aviacharge 2000 (available online from mcmurry or strombergs) and three drops of polyvisol for a week (once a day) might do the trick if they are not too old and still chicks (or have not had this for too long a period) ...

I'm afraid it's too late to do anything for my babies. They are two months old now. Can't post a picture since I still only have a 35mm camera. Both feet on one baby are totally deformed. At the first joint of each toe, the toe turns 90 degrees and again at the next joint. She walks and jumps and runs but just a little more cautious than the others. When she stops she has to get her balance a little bit, but other than that she does not let it bother her. The other one only has one toe that is like that. They are still sweet babies.

well it might be "too late" to "correct" the actual deformity but in the case of deficiency, if not corrected (supplement) the deficiency may get worse and deficiencies can lead to malabsorption and ultimately death. I found this in the merck vet manual ( altho B6 is not the only thing to cause such deformity):
http://www.merckvetmanual.com/mvm/index.jsp?cfile=htm/bc/206933.htm
(please click and read entire article)
excerpt:
"...A chronic or borderline deficiency can result in perosis, with one leg usually being crippled and one or both middle toes bent inward at the first joint. ..."

I suggest you give polyvisol , four drops once a day for two weeks and then if possible get a good general supplement (like aviacharge 2000 > available online from McMurry or Strombergs) for them (the aviacharge is formulated as a daily supplement so it will not provide a therapeutic dosage > the polyvisol will adress the b vitamins) ... this will take care of any deficiency issues.
