Wasn't sure what thread to put this in, so if this is the wrong one, my bad. But, I have two salmon faverolle hens and I'm wondering which will probably have a better shot in showing. One I think is "almost" perfect but she has yellow feet and black in her beard. I may show them next year is why I'm wondering, right now they are 19 weeks of age.

Alrighty, I guess it makes sense. The other one just has a lot of black and is darker in salmon.
A lot depends on what type of show it is. If it is an official APA show then you want to get as close to the standard as you can. You may have more leeway at local shows or county fairs.

I also have a SF with a lot of black in her beard and someone told me that it’s possible they will molt out the black as they get older! My girl is 18 weeks old. So you may just want to wait and see how they mature :-)
