A local breeder/hatchery is selling off some pullets late in the season that are just a smidge older than my own flock. He is selling Salmon Favorelle pullets that are 16-weeks-old for $20 each and slightly younger Cochins for $15 each.
Should I buy a few? Hoping for a diverse flock with good layers and pretty birds.
