Hello, all BYC members. I have been stalking this forum for a couple months now, just finally became a member! I have had chickens and ducks on and off throughout my life now. Currently I have one adult hen [Buff Orpington] , a rooster, and six baby chicks [Americana's]. All hens. Then I have eleven ducks. I have six babies that are only a couple months old, three Khaki Campbell's and Three Rouen. Which I am to believe are all female except two of the rouens. We recently added the remaining five adult ducks, one is a runner [he is most dominant] an adult drake khaki, two khaki females, and a swedish female. We also have a couple turkey's, looking to get a pig. Then all of our inside animals. Woo! We live on fifty nine acres, and looking into getting another horse possibly, it's under going major thought. We may have a lot, but they all get attention, are fed well, and get their exercise.
I live on a nice sized farm just outside of Dawson, Pennsylvania. I'm engaged, no set date yet. Love animals of all kinds. I have a saltwater tank of fish, a chinchilla, ferrets, dogs, cats, and a bird. I've owned most animals and do a LOT of research before even getting any of the sort. I hope to make a lot of friends on BYC, help newer members along the way, and learn more information as I possibly can. :)

Glad you could join the flock! Wow you have a lovely mixed flock there you must be very busy. I like to keep busy too with my animals. I'm not a duck or Turkey person but there is the other poultry section you can check out https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/66/other-backyard-poultry
Do you have a horse already if you are looking to get another one? I've got an ex racer called Harry I've had him 12 years now and wouldn't swop him for the world. We have had and still do have a lot of fun times.

You have lots of animals! Sounds like they are keeping you busy! I've never kept chinchillas or ferrets but I've had guinea pigs for the past 6 years. Have you ever kept guinea pigs?

Thank you all so much! My horse died a couple years ago her name was Shannah doah. Strawberry roan. Used her for mainly trail riding! I may get another but I may not.
Yes I've owned guinea pigs before! Adorable little piggies they are :)
