Same chicken diffrent names??

Hi,

I was just wondering if the "Breed or type" of chicken names varies from United States to Canada?

I keep reading about Columbian Wyandottes, is this the same as a Columbian Rock?? I don't really see a diffrence.

Columbia refers to a color pattern...white body, silver to black penciling on the hackle and black tips on the tail.... almost Delaware coloring... Plymouth Rocks have single combs and Wyandottes have a rose comb. Rocks are also a larger breed. So, no they're not the same.
